Announcement for End of Sales RICOH Print Management Cloud and related changes to RICOH CloudStream

Overview

As of April 1st, 2025, with the release of RICOH CloudStream, the sales of new and additional licenses for the existing RICOH Print Management Cloud(PMC) have officially ended on the following dates.

End of sale dates:

  31st March, 2025

 Existing PMC customers can purchase additional licenses or renew their licenses for CloudStream. There has been no change from their existing environment, except in cases where they purchase a new CloudStream Device Management license*.

Transformation to CloudStream

According to the end of PMC license sales, the name of the existing environment has officially changed from “RICOH Print Management Cloud” to “RICOH CloudStream” as of 1st April, 2025.

The scope of the impact is as follows;

  • Web UI
    The displayed name "PMC" has been removed and documentation link now directs to CloudStream manual. The installation files available on the Web UI have been replaced.

  • Site URL
    CloudStream’s URL has been added to all PMC tenants. Existing URL also can continue to be used.

Important notice 1

Due to the sales license change and the name change, the EULA/DPA for RICOH CloudStream has been applied to all existing PMC customers as scheduled. Please confirm the contents from the web UI after the RICOH CloudStream V2.13.0 release (Targeting on 3rd April).

Summary of changes are as follows

EULA
  • Removed the provision about on-premise support.
    * We will keep supporting current customers who utilize PMC or CloudStream PS in on-premise/Private cloud environment until license expiration.

  • Updated provisions to align with cloud-based products.

  • Removed the provision stating that claims cannot be made. (Section 9)

  • Modified Section 9 to explicitly limit the use of the Software license to internal business purposes.

  • In addition to the 90 days warranty, a statement has been added regarding the ongoing updates to the product. (Section 5, 10)

DPA
  • Removed the provision about on-premise support.

  • Updated provisions to align with cloud-based products.

  • Clearly stated compliance with Swiss data protection law. (Section 8.h)

  • Added provisions related to data security measures. (Annex 2)

  • Added provisions to clarify the list of sub processors. (Annex 2)

How to agree new EULA/DPA:

(After RICOH CloudStream V2.13.0 release (Targeting on 3rd April)).

  1. A new "Agree to our legal documents" section will be added to the "Overview" page.

  2. When "Legal documents" is clicked or accessed via the Security page, the following will appear:

  3. The customer administrator can then read the documents and if they agrees, check the boxes and click "Save".

Important notice 2

Current PMC customers who purchase CloudStream Device Management License additionally will need to migrate their tenants to the CloudStream environment. Please note that this requires on-site CE work.
